The Real Deal

The only thing that leads me to write something like this is because of a friend of mine. We have the same ideology and understanding. Looking at the political issues that our country is facing, what is the real deal here? Will everything really change if we were to change a new government? Will we be having a better life? Will we be able to have equality of benefits? But the question is are these the only major problems we are facing? I am listening to Pink's "Mr Dear President" I realize that it will Not change anything at all. We will be still the same unless the real deal is being solved.

To many, it is about how the government misused all the money . I know where  all these are coming from. And I won't even want to talk about it in this post. This is not a discussion . This is the post that is deep down in the real problems we are facing. The comments I see daily on Facebook is  really childish and irrelevant . To many, they may feel that we're the problems because it was driven by fear, jealousy and hate!

What I am trying to say is there anything that is the real deal? Those homeless on the streets, those who serve in war and a mother has not a chance to say goodbye, Minimum wage with a baby on the way, Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away, Building a bed out of a cardboard box, you don't know nothing about hard work. These are the real issues people out there who are really suffering. It is not about how the government wasted the money you have contributed. That is your responsibility. Be blessed on that taxes we are paying now. I use to pay 45 % when I was abroad. But we said nothing. Money was spent wisely you may say. Then why is the unemployment rate in the states at all time high? When the government robbed their citizen when currency is introduced , no one fights back like we do for all the nonsense reasons we have amplified . I know that this is a losing battle for me. No one would really even bother. But I feel the pain on those I care for. Those who are really sick and need medical attention. Alcoholism, drugs, sex and sexism, rights? Common people, I would just ask you one question.

If you were to change! What is your first move to help the majority in this country? They are still the ones that need attention. Without their condition and the problems they are facing solved, there will be no change on what we want. Am I wrong?

All  these issues will not be changed  within  a decade. We need this change. But not  by creating hate, jealousy, and fear. Stop this perceptions! We really need to see the real deal we are facing. Find the source and make this change. It will not change within a few years down the road. I know this is a losing  battle .I will lose fighting. But the least I can do is a change starting from myself first.

While talking to someone I love and care for very much earlier, he wanted me to stop feeling his pain but to feel some love for myself. And what hurts me most is I feel the pain  in him. Wanting me to get well, the situation he is in now is unbearable. A lot of self conflict. A lot of cries within. But the judgement of the society makes him feel the hopelessness in life now. If even I giving up on him now, who will? I don't care how much you would push me away and trying to use some little tiny things to make me feel you are ok. I know when you are and when you are not. It is not because I am better but just I am using my heart to care for someone I care and love. There are way much better things to educate people here in our own country. The issues of public health problems, drugs, prostitutions and many other understanding and discrimination of such that leads to all these activities. If we do not acknowledge this issues, then what should we put our attention to? To what bag and the  priceless  ring our first lady bought? Why and why and why all the hate? I don't see any compliments when she helped out on the art expo for Malaysian Institute of Arts for the young talented Chinese students in 2010/11? So do we consider that racism? I am not standing on anyone's side. If I come to the ballot box, I would not vote for anyone. Until someone who can really make a difference! I don't need another political party that can take the first step to change this situation.

What we really need now is start from the very beginning. Educations, and the understanding of public issues and give some love. The world is actually asking for help. But how many of us listen to them? We hear them but we do not listen! I made a change by setting up St James Foundation. I wanted this so bad for those who are wanting the help from what we can make a better tomorrow. I dare my readers! If you find I am wrong. Please share this out and slander me. I welcome you. If you think its right, start to take a step for a  change. For ourselves.

Dear Mr. President,
Come take a walk with me
Let's pretend we're just two people
and you're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions
if we can speak honestly

What do you feel when you see
all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night
before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?
And tell me why?

Dear Mr. President,
were you a lonely boy?
are you a lonely boy?
How can you say, no child is left behind?
We're not dumb and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
when you pay the road to hell

What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
What kind of father might hate his own daugther if she were gay?
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way, from whiskey and cocaine

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?

Let me tell you about hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you about hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you about hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you about hard work
Hard work, hard work, you don't know nothing about hard work
Hard work, hard work

How do you sleep at night?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Dear Mr. President,
you'll never take a walk with me...

  1. Just one word "cos" at the beginning of the last sentence will send a stronger more balance message. I second you on love and check balance. But I am voting for opposition anyway cos they seem cuter and prettier :-p
