Unveiling The New Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380

Taking shoots for the new commercial ad.
Isn't she a beauty

A new journey is about to take it's maiden flight. Welcoming the latest edition of Malaysia Airlines System (MAS) to it's fleet, The brand new Airbus A380-841. The unveiling of the new image of the airliner. With the big bird coming to service on the 1st of July 2012, the new livery is looking good. With the new logo it looks like MAS will be repositioning back to it's previous status as a premium airline.

It has been a long wait for this Super Jumbo. 3 deliveries delays and a near pull out of the fleet. At last, we come to this day where the aircraft will be deliver in June 2012. The first aircraft from Airbus carries registration of MSN 078. Once delivered she will wear the registration 9M-MNA.

Malaysia Airlines will send its brand new Airbus A380 fleet to London next July -- with fewer business class seats on board than on any other A380.

MAS' A380 flights will start on 1 July 2012 by which time the airline's Enrich frequent flyer program may already allow reciprocal earning and burning with Qantas Frequent Flyer.

MH002 will run from Kuala Lumpur to London Heathrow on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return flights MH003 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

From 15 August, the A380 will go daily on the route, which will connect to Malaysia Airlines' Australian flights from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Malaysia Airlines is also planning to join the oneworld alliance, and the formalities will likely be completed in late 2012.

MAS has decided on an overall layout similar to Qantas' and Singapore Airlines -- with first class downstairs and business class upstairs -- although there are some notable differences.

The aircraft's exterior has been revamped, showcasing the national airline's iconic "wau" (kite) symbol with modern fonts.

The A380 has a seating capacity of 494, and is divided into three classes with eight first class seats and 350 economy class seats on the main deck, and 66 business class seats and 70 more economy class seats on the upper deck.

Eight first class seats at the front of the main deck in a 1-2-1 configuration -- four fewer than on SQ and six fewer than Qantas. (As CNN reported in 2011, babies will be banned from MAS' first class on the A380.)

Just nine rows of business class will be found upstairs, stretching in a 2-2-2 layout from rows 6-12 and 17-18 at the front of the upper deck. That's fewer business class seats than any other airline running the A380.

Economy class in a 3-4-3 layout will be found towards the rear of the main deck, with a smaller 2-4-2 cabin upstairs behind business.

Get ready for the new experience with the new Malaysia Airlines Airbus A380
Love the new logo and branding. It is simply out of my expectation. Great job.
All I can say now is

It's a new beginning of a new Malaysian Hospitality MH Experience.
