Boost For Narita

As per 07JAN13 GDS timetable and inventory display, Malaysia Airlines during the month of February 2013 is to operate Boeing 747-400 aircraft on Kuala Lumpur – Tokyo Narita route on selected dates. Planned Boeing 747-400 operation as follows.

MH088 KUL2335 – 0715+1NRT 744 04FEB13/05FEB13/08FEB13/09FEB13
MH089 NRT1030 – 1705KUL 744 05FEB13/06FEB13/09FEB13/10FEB13

First Class cabin on Boeing 747-400 aircraft is sold as Business Class on flights mentioned above.

Singapore Airlines during First week of May 2013 will operate 2 extra Airbus A380 service on Singapore – Tokyo Narita, as it anticipates peaking demand during Japan’s annual Golden Week holidays. The 471-seater A380 will operate SQ638/637 on 02MAY13 and 05MAY13 (NRT departure 03MAY13 and 06MAY13), replacing 777-300ER.

SQ637 NRT1110 – 1715SIN 388 03MAY13/06MAY13

As a result of the aircraft change, Singapore – Melbourne SQ227/228 on 02MAY13 (03MAY13 from MEL) and Singapore – Sydney SQ231/222 on 06MAY13 switches from A380 to 777-300ER.
