JetBlue New Business Class

Flying on a JetBlue Airways flight across the country just got a little more comfortable.

The New York-based airline, which is the third-largest commercial carrier at Orlando International Airport, is adding spacious lie-flat seats in an effort to lure more high-spending executives and business-class travelers, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The seats will be added to 11 Airbus planes for flights from California to New York.

The move signals that JetBlue is ready to go head-to-head with other major airlines for the highly competitive and profitable cross-country traffic that typically includes bankers, entertainment executives and more.
