After 19 months service suspension, Malaysia Airlines will resume Kuala Lumpur – Dubai service, starting 05AUG13. The oneWorld member plans to operate this service with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on daily basis. The airline briefly opened reservation for few hours since 0900GMT, however reservation is closed again as of 2000GMT.
Flights will be flown nonstop on a daily basis as a terminator service and not like before via Karachi. Looks like their timing out of DXB will be competing head to head with EK's A380 operated EK 346 service.
This is the refitted version of the Boeing 777-200, Business Class has to have slanted lie-flat beds.
Economy Class has very good legroom at 34 inches, well above average and near the top of all airlines.
Computer power ports are installed in Business Class. All seats are equipped with seatback video screens.
Lets see how they perform this round.
