Dragonair - Skytrax “World Best Regional Airline” Celebratory Offers Launched To Thank Passengers

Dragonair, three-time winner of the Skytrax “World’s Best Regional Airline” award, announced a series of celebratory offers to thank passengers for their support. The Skytrax World Airline Awards is the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey and the most prestigious among all the surveys measuring airline service excellence. The results are based on the votes of more than 18 million airline passengers from more than 160 countries. Dragonair is equally honoured to be named “Best Regional Airline in Asia” in the same survey.

Dragonair Chief Executive Officer Patrick Yeung said the awards reflect the great teamwork displayed by Dragonair staff. “What won us the recognition from Skytrax is the hard work, commitment and professionalism of our frontline staff and those who support the operation behind the scenes. They should all feel very proud.”

To share their joy and to thank passengers for their support, Dragonair is launching a series of celebratory offers from July to September, including double Asia Miles, inflight sales offers and tasty surprises.

Mr Yeung said at a media gathering today: “We are proud to share our Skytrax accolades, which belong to Hong Kong, our home city for 28 years. We hope that our passengers will love the celebratory offers and surprises that we are offering.”

Dragonair, an affiliate member of oneworld, is a Hong Kong-based airline operating a fleet of 39 passenger aircraft and serving 45 regional destinations, including 22 cities in Mainland China. Dragonair has been recognised for its product and service quality, and was named the “Best Regional Airline” at the TTG Travel Awards 2012, and voted thrice as "World's Best Regional Airline" in the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards™ in 2010, 2011 and 2013. Dragonair is part of the Cathay Pacific Group, providing seamless connectivity for passengers to more than 170 cities around the globe.
