Firefly To Start JB-Pekanbaru Flights

Firefly will introduce a weekly scheduled service between Johor Baharu and Pekanbaru in Indonesia from Aug 1, 2013 to July 31, 2014.

Firefly CEO Ignatius Ong said the community airline is targeting both business and leisure traffic out of Johor Baharu and will use its ATR 72-500 turbo prop aircraft with a seating capacity of 72 on this route.

Firefly’s first international turboprop operations out of Johor will be available four times a week, departing from Johor Baharu at 10.20am and arriving in Pekanbaru at 10.40am local time.

The return flight leaves Pekanbaru at 11.00am and arrives in Johor Baharu at 1.20pm.

“Our direct, four-times weekly service with a travel time of approximately 1 hour 20 minutes is convenient to travellers within the Southern region," Ong said in a statement.

Firefly is offering a special RM99 all-in fare in tandem with its sixth birthday celebrations and Everyday Low Fare (ELF) campaign offering 500,000 seats for as low as RM49.

Airbus A350 First Flight Next Week

"The final ground trials went very well. Weather permitting, it should fly next week," said one of the sources, tipping a Saturday flight.

Pascal Verneau, the chief engineer for flight tests, said "personally, I am hoping the first flight takes place before Bourget."

The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget airport opens on Monday, June 17.

It comes as the plane manufacturer revealed a revised seating option for the A380 which could fit up to 600 people.

Verneau said a couple days of engine testing plus two tests reaching takeoff speed remain.

The maiden flight should last around four hours, he added, with the A350 flying over the Pyrenees mountains or the Brittany region depending on the weather conditions.

Airbus officials downplayed the possibility the A350 could make an appearance at the Paris Air Show.

Airbus hopes the 314-seater will compete with Boeing's 787 Dreamliner by being both lighter and more fuel-efficient than previous models.

The first deliveries of A350s to airlines are scheduled for the end of 2014.

So far, Airbus has received orders for 616 of the aircraft.

Seeing With A Different Eye

Every step we move is always something new for us to experience. Till this very day, it seems like it was just yesterday everything that had pass by without us knowing how those little things meant so much. We use our senses day by day but we didn't realize it as we were just so use to it by now.

Being a normal healthy person is always like a dream to me. My recovery is slow but still progressing. Year after year, I can't remember when I was first being diagnose. But still, I am kinda weird to be thankful to have this cuz there are so many changes I see in the world I thought I was living in.

Recalling the first honeymoon I had, beautiful city, beautiful beach and beautiful memories. Every single bit of it was just like a storm that were short lived. No matter I settle to do, I still feel you here. The learning process of feeling the world that we live in without our eyes. It sorta made me feel things were not seems to be as what it looks like. My point is, nothing is certain.

Even like in bed, I remember I had this buddy of mine who I always does this. Whenever my buddy and I hook up, I will always be blindfolded even before upon arrival. I have to say, it was something I can't really explain in words how those senses works. Magnifying every touch and feeling the different temperature on our skin. As much as I wanna say, it was just amazing.

Well, somehow, life works that way either way. It doesn't matter how my condition is right now or how things looks like on the surface. I am trying to look at it in a different light. Somehow, things seems to be working for me somehow. To be able not to worry, or being afraid of what will happen next, but instead, feeling the anticipation of what will happen next. The powerful senses that is around us.

At this present, it doesn't really matter on how I am feeling right now. But what counts is how will it be moving on from here. Perception are just mere views of others even some are being proven otherwise. It doesn't matter to me any more. Every prayer are just love that were meant to share. Shadows are inevitable but it is just a part of being alive. right?

Every bit of love and every sense of care that is given is one thing that I do think is worth fighting for and to live on with that. I know that everyone has an empty space within that needed to be filled. I won't deny that that feeling sucks at most of the time. But even so, isn't it something that is worth for us to keep going and find that something which is worth living for? Somehow it is just like writing music. When a melody and the accompaniment are parallel, it just doesn't seems fit and it will just sounded monotonous. But when it is coming from two different directions, somehow it will sound in a beautiful harmony.

Every closing door isn't the very end of a beautiful journey. It might be hard right now. But everything will just pass away. Even bad times does. It isn't something easy to begin with, but every single journey begins with baby steps. It feels like the end now, but eventually it was just a beginning of something new. No matter what we wanted in life, every voices that follow you, or even where we will go from here, it doesn't matter when we just have to close our eyes and see it from our heart. The journey might be a long one, but it is just something that is worth for us to keep walking on.

Malaysia Airlines Voted Second Best Airline In The World - Skytrax

An article in Business Insider, a New York-based business and technology news website, gave MAS a score of 90 out of 100 points based on its overall "in-flight experience".

"Malaysia Airlines got perfect scores for seat comfort and service efficiency. It even banned children in some areas of its planes," Business Insider said in the article entitled "The 20 best airlines in the world", dated April 26.

Journalists from the news site, Max Rosenberg and Alex Davies, said the findings were based on Skytrax's value of in-flight experience, based on ratings for seat comfort, in-flight entertainment, cabin cleanliness and condition, quality of meals served and service efficiency.

The article looked at dozens of major international airlines that fly long-haul routes on economy travelling, which the writers quipped was "often a horror show", although not all airlines were equal.

Business Insider also commended MAS for its "On-time performance", where it received 74 points for punctuality, the same score as Singapore Airlines, which clinched first place in their article.

However, it added "economy travellers will still risk having their seat backs kicked by toddlers".

The article sourced the time performance score from global flight tracker and travel planning portal, Flightstats.com.

The data collected on international departures and arrival times were recorded between Feb 15 and April 15.

Singapore Airlines received a near perfect score of 98 points for "In-flight experience".

"Singapore Airlines offers far and away the world's best economy experience.

"Employees are trained to treat everyone with care and respect, and that makes all the difference.

"Add in the fact that Singapore Airlines scored 100 for seat comfort, cabin cleanliness and in-flight entertainment, and it's easy to see why it's number one."

Virgin America was ranked third in the article, followed by Qatar Airways in fourth place.

Stretch Version Of A380 Still Far Off

Emirates has been pressing for the stretch but even its influential chief executive, Tim Clark, concedes there is little appetite for it at Airbus.

Mr Clark estimates a stretch version would give Emirates an extra 120 seats in three classes, taking the total passenger load to about 640.

The aircraft is particularly suited for constrained airports, and with global traffic doubling every 15 years, and every 10 years in growth areas such as Asia, some airports are struggling to cope. The plane originally was designed with a stretch in mind.

"We've always talked about stretching it and eventually that will happen," Airbus chief operating officer John Leahy said this week, noting the manufacturer had a lot on its plate with the A320neo, three variants of the A350 and the A400m. "To stretch the 380 is down the ways a bit but it's still in the plan."


Airbus is repairing A380s that suffered problems with cracks in the wing rib feet, small brackets attaching the skin of the wing to the underlying structure.

Mr Leahy said he believed the industry understood the flaw was a maintenance issue that had been sorted out at the manufacturer's expense.

Changes to the manufacturing process have been certified and Airbus estimates the first plane with a forward fit will be delivered early next year. Mr Leahy said Airbus was undertaking a "nose to tail" repair process to replace the rib feet that takes about two months on each aircraft.

Emirates, the biggest operator of the A380, has two aircraft undergoing repairs with a third going in soon. Mr Clark said there would be four aircraft on the ground at any one time and hoped all 34 planes would be back in operation by November next year.

Mr Leahy said sales of the giant aircraft were "pretty much" as expected, with the manufacturer each year selling as many aircraft as it was building in the 25-30 range.

The Airbus executive also did not see any gains for the company's A350 from the grounding earlier this year of the Boeing 787. The A350 is set to fly soon; it ran its engines this week and Airbus announced a crew for the first flight. But Mr Leahy refused to be pinned down on a date this week.

The manufacturer is pitching the A350 to Virgin Australia, which is also looking at Boeing's 787.

"I think the A350 has been selling very well on its own merits without any regard there to the 787 problems," Mr Leahy said. "After all, it's got more capacity, lower seat-mile costs, more range, a bigger fuselage, so I think the airlines tend to like it for what it is, not as an alternative to a 787."

Asked about the recent announcement by Singapore Airlines that it would become the launch customer for the Boeing 787-10, Mr Leahy said the A350-900 would be the bigger 787's direct competitor.

He likened the reasons for launching it to those behind the 767-400, which also featured a reduced range.

"So basically it never sold very well at all, in fact it was a bit of marketing disaster," he said. "I think you'll see some very similar problems with the 787-10."

Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert Win Big at CMT Music Awards

Florida Georgia Line and Miranda Lambert doubled up on trophies, and Carrie Underwood claimed the biggest Buckle in the Bible Belt during Wednesday's CMT Music Awards, a prologue to the four-day CMA Music Festival.

Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" earned duo video of the year and breakthrough video, while Lambert took female video for "Mama's Broken Heart" and also snagged CMT performance of the year for a live version of "Over You" from the 2012 "CMT Artists of the Year" special.

FGL's Brian Kelley gave a shout out to "our amazing fans," one of several artists who made a point to single out the buyers who finance their careers.

"We can't thank you enough," Kelley added, "for changing our lives."

Lambert likewise paid homage to the fans -- "you guys are awesome" -- while claiming the performance award. She also made a third acceptance speech, claiming the male Buckle for husband Blake Shelton, who won with "Sure Be Cool If You Did."

"Honey, I'm drinking for two tonight," she proclaimed.

Underwood's video of the year came for "Blown Away," a song built around tornado imagery. It came ironically after she delivered one of the night's most difficult performances. She sang her rangy current single, "See You Again," accompanied by a gospel choir in front of black-and-white footage of broken homes from her home state of Oklahoma. Underwood recently donated $1 million to tornado relief. While she forced a smile, she seemed emotionally challenged during the performance.

"The good Lord has been very good to me, all of us in this room for a long time," she said in her acceptance speech. She offered thanks "for our love of music and making music videos."

The fan-voted CMT Buckle comes symbolically during the CMA Festival, which features a ream of live performances and autograph signings for 70,000 visitors across downtown Nashville June 6-9.

The attention to the consumers is what sets the CMTs apart from other industry-voted awards shows, according to Hunter Hayes.

"This one is energized and, in a lot of ways, determined by the fans," Hayes observed on the purple carpet before the show. "The energy that we get on stage comes from the fans, and to have that kind of energy in this room is exactly what this all kind of built around. That's what gives this show the difference."

Lady Antebellum collected the group video for "Downtown," and Jason Aldean shared collaborative video with Eric Church and Luke Bryan for "The Only Way I Know."

Fan tallies were kept throughout the show. Cassadee Pope played official Twitter tracker, updating the audience on the total number of CMT-related tweets sent during the show. The public voted on video of the year, and it decided on what song Jason Aldean and co-host Kristen Bell would perform in the awards' final hour. That number turned out to be Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson's 35-year-old outlaw classic, "Mammas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys."

As rough as that chorus was, it adhered in spirit to one of the network's signature titles, the collaborative "CMT Crossroads" series, and the awards were accompanied by plenty of moments that drew on multiple artists. Aldean fist bumped rocker Lenny Kravitz in the night's opening number as they launched into "American Woman," setting up a pairing that seems suited for a future "Crossroads" episode.

Aldean was also part of the biggest multi-personality ensemble, though it wasn't a musical moment. He dropped onto a couch where Bell – playing a psychiatrist – conducted a group-therapy session with country show hosts: Aldean, the newbie; Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Reba McEntire, all of whom have hosted the ACMs; and Carrie Underwood, who routinely co-hosts the CMAs with Brad Paisley. Throw in Vince Vaughn and a couple of TV therapists – "Celebrity Rehab" doc Drew Pinsky and Kelsey Grammer, alias Frasier Crane – and the room had plenty of opportunity for on-camera advice.

"Watch out for your co-hosts that can be super-frickin' needy," Shelton warned Aldean.

Aldean assured he could handle any potential drama.

"My mind's like a steel trap," he deadpanned. "Nothin' gets in here."

There were other artistic mash-ups, too. Darius Rucker served up "Wagon Wheel" with Lady Antebellum on backing vocals. Little Big Town turned in a fierce version of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" with Keith Urban chipping in bonus guitar. Kenny Rogers and Sheryl Crow whipped out a ragged chorus of "Islands In The Stream" while presenting video of the year. And Florida Georgia Line closed the show doing "Cruise" with Nelly, whose appearance in a remix version helped one of country's biggest hits of 2012 become one of pop's biggest summer songs of 2013.

Until Underwood's tornado-themed performance, the night was noticeably light – even a tribute to the late George Jones nimbly avoided any somber tones. Aldean remembered playing a show with Jones, and noted that his own "Dirt Road Anthem" pays major respect to Jones in its chorus.

"No one ever did anything quite like the greatest country singer of all-time," Aldean offered. "God bless the Possum, Mr. George Jones."

The Mavericks then delivered a rollicking read of Jones' "The Race Is On" as the network moved into a commercial break.

The Mavericks, a critically-heralded act from the 1990s that reunited and released an album in January, served as house band for the evening, supporting Randy Houser's "How Country Feels," Cassadee Pope's "Wasting All These Tears," Love And Theft's "Angel Eyes," Ashley Monroe's "Weed Instead Of Roses," Kree Harrison's "All Cried Out" and Dustin Lynch's "Cowboys And Angels."

British Airways To Show Off A380s In Paris Airshow

The manufacturer agreed with the airline to bring the aircraft to the show, having previously done the same with a Korean Air A380 at the Paris show two years ago and a Malaysia Airlines A380 at Farnborough last year.

British Airways is due to take delivery of its first A380, configured with 469 seats, in July.

The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines.

Airbus says that the A380 "will take centre stage during the first few days of the show", to be followed by one of the manufacturer's flight-test aircraft later in the week.

It is using the type to promote a new advertising campaign under the banner "Own the Sky".

Airbus's air transport presence at the Paris show will be underpinned by an A320 fitted with sharklet wing-tips, an A330 and a corporate ACJ318.

While the manufacturer will be showing a full-sized A350 cockpit and cabin section, Airbus has not indicated whether the initial test aircraft is likely to carry out its first flight before the show.

Wings for all the Airbus range of aircraft are built at the Broughton, Flintshire factory.

An Airbus spokesman said commercial announcements are also expected to be made during the week long event.

“Various commercial aircraft will be delivered to customers during the show, including Sharklet equipped A320s, an A330, and the 100th Airbus Military C295.

“An Airbus ACJ318 which has the widest and tallest cabin of any business jet will also be on static display,” he added.

The full-size A350 XWB cockpit and cabin section can be walked through at the EADS pavilion.

Emirates A380 To Fly Zurich

From 1 January 2014, EK087 from Dubai to Zurich and its return sector EK088 will be operated by an A380, offering an increased capacity of more than 1,100 additional seats every week in each direction. The service is currently operated by a Boeing 777-300ER.

Emirates will continue to serve Zurich with a double daily operation, which will equate to more than 870 seats on offer per day.

“The strategic decision to bring our flagship A380 to Zurich was made to support the city’s strong position as a financial services hub and centre for a vast number of international companies. There has been robust demand for business and leisure traffic and the extra capacity will stimulate more trade and tourism between Switzerland, the UAE and emerging markets eastbound - including 10 destinations in India and 24 destinations in the Far East and Australasia - connecting both people and economies,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ Executive Vice President, Passenger Sales Worldwide.

The A380 capacity boost on the flights to Zurich will further stimulate trade between the UAE and Switzerland, supporting a buoyant US$9 billion trade relationship, according the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade. Over 169 Swiss companies operate in Dubai and SkyCargo supports movement of goods such as precious metals, watches, jewelry, heavy machinery and pharmaceuticals, giving local businesses greater access to foreign markets.

Thomas Kern, CEO Zurich Airport, said, “The decision of Emirates to operate its flagship aircraft on one of its two daily flights to Zurich represents another milestone for Zurich Airport and demonstrates the strong demand from travelers for the Emirates product. The upgrade from a Boeing 777 operation to an A380 on the afternoon flight from Zurich is a significant capacity increase and a clear commitment to the Swiss market.”

The A380 is spread over two decks offering 427 seats in Economy Class, 76 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 14 First Class Private Suites. Each Emirates’ A380 offers an Onboard Lounge on the upper deck for Premium Class passengers. First Class passengers have the added luxury of two Onboard Shower Spas.

From 1 January 2014, the new A380-supported EK 087 flight will depart Dubai at 08:25 and arrive in Zurich International Airport at 12:20. The return flight, EK 088, will leave Zurich at 14:35 and arrive in Dubai at 23:40.

Etihad A380 & 787 Deliveries In 2014

Etihad Airways CEO James Hogan said during a media briefing at the IATA annual general meeting in Cape Town that the carrier is on track to take delivery of its first Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 in late 2014. Mr Hogan says Etihad’s A380 will be in three-class configuration and is intended to operate to New York, London, Sydney and Melbourne. The carrier’s 787s will be in two configurations with two and three classes. According to CAPA’s Fleet Database, Etihad has 40 787-9s and 10 A380s on order.

This morning is different. I can sense it, I feel it. I am awake. For the first time in a long time, I am awake. I welcome the day. For the first time in a long time, I feel good. I finally finish the last piece of the whole score of my song. Weird enough, I was just lying on the bathroom floor while it came to me. It was just like I was being touched and drawn into all this beautiful part of life. Losing the battle once a while is just ok, the war is not being determine on just one lost. Something always does bring me back to this place. Memories we have is such an amazing and powerful tool that we never really realize what the impact that we could have on us. Where It All Began - Matthew Morrison

Actor and singer/songwriter Matthew Morrison recently visited The Recording Academy's headquarters in Santa Monica, Calif., to participate in an exclusive GRAMMY.com interview. Morrison discussed collaborating with the late 14-time GRAMMY-winning producer Phil Ramone and Smokey Robinson on his new album, Where It All Began.

"The late Phil Ramone was an absolute genius," said Morrison. "He really brought the best out in me. We dug deep and he brought me into Capitol Records to record with 'the Frank Sinatra' microphone. It was a really cool recording process."

Although known for his portrayal of optimistic glee club director Will Schuester on the hit TV show "Glee," Morrison first gained fame performing in several Broadway musicals, including "Footloose" and "Hairspray." A California native, Morrison released his self-titled debut album in 2011, peaking at No. 24 on the Billboard 200, with duets featuring Gwyneth Paltrow and GRAMMY winners Elton John and Sting. In 2012 Morrison became the first artist to sign with Adam Levine's record label, 222 Records.

Wreak

Memories were meant to stay but it doesn't mean we needed to stop dreaming about a life we wanted. I couldn't stop thinking what I should actually do after my post earlier. Listening to Demi Lovato's Warrior and it kinda shake this up. I know there are a lot of things in life that we wanna do always goes the other way. But I really don't wanna lie to myself that the feeling of letting others down. The more I know how things were, I just can't stop hating the condition I am in now.

I know that you do see things in a different light. But fact still lies there that I let you down somehow. Maybe everything seems a little overwhelming for me right now. With every memories and emotions all the place. I guess I deserve to be a wreak today since I have really trying to be positive for the past week.

It has just been days since I last see you but I just can't help to just feel that feeling how much I am missing you right now. I really do. And I really hate myself more for taking so long to recover. I really wished you were just right here now to tell me everything will be just fine. But... there will always be a but.. and it will just spiral down to a dark realm. I really miss being healthy. I really do.. Is it too much to just ask for one day to be normal again? 

Random Thoughts

Listening to what is around us, sometimes, we tend to over hear things that we don't really think is important. Before you happen, my life was just black and white. It was never grey. But since you walked into my life, things were always beautiful no matter how it seems to be. You took away all the shadows. All the love you gave was golden, golden and I would gladly pay. I wasn't afraid of anything that is happening to or around me.

Some reasons that was clearly the more you were here, it gets harder to let go. The things you wanted was nothing I could give. And the insanity will drives us into a state of black. Maybe I just need to know how to go on from here. But the more I wanted to try, I felt like I was breathing under water. Every gulp I take is just excruciatingly painful. I couldn't possibly do anything to make it right. I was just too deep to get out to the surface.

I wanted to keep going from here. I know I wanted to. There are no reasons for me to just give in right now. Here I am across the road, seeing one comes and one goes. Nothing stay still. No matter how I wanted things to go my way, it will never be. Had my 14th dosage today. I am still feeling alright. But the feeling of wanting to go home grows stronger. I just wanted to get out from the life I am in right now and live like everyone else out there.

Well, I guess all this emotions staking up seems to be writing gold to me. The faith always shines and goes. I guess it is a good draft. But just half way through, I end up listening to Levi Kreis and Keith Urban's music. I sometimes just wanted to find something good to compensate with everything that is being thrown at me. Levi has always been a real supportive factor in my music career. Somehow whenever I have the writers block syndrome, his music always helps me to find my way to express. But I am thankful that he really helps me out to make something that was suppose to be a surprise for zombie happen. But turns, out to be an epic failure. Well, at least I have tried to cheer him up somehow.

Anyway, I think I really need to stop my ranting way to blog. Everything seems to be everywhere. But anyhow, will try to be more organize in my next post. All I really am wishing now, is able to get out from be and be in London for a special project. It seems impossible but just a little faith I am holding on still. Well, every recovery sucks right? Nothing I can do about it.

10 more days and I will be facing my own demons again. I am trying not to think about it right now but just I also can't lie to myself. I am who I am right? Guess no point complaining about it. Still one thing I am not facing is what I really am feeling right now. From the beginning of my post till this very paragraph, I am still diverting everything from one place to another. I guess humans are just being build to survive what is being put in front of us. Guess this attempt to face my shadows will have to wait. Oh well, gonna just let it be for now. 

Tradewinds Centre Kuala Lumpur

Tradewinds Corporation Bhd will begin redevelopment of its 2.8ha site currently occupied by the Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur and Kompleks Antarabangsa in 2013. The new development known as Tradewinds Centre, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), would comprise 'Grade A+' offices, a 24-storey corporate block, a large-scale 14-storey medical centre, retail offices, serviced apartments and hotel, where the centrepiece would be a central plaza and a 65-storey skyscraper complimented by a 54-storey residences. Tradewinds Centre explicitly seeks to establish itself with many exciting features that will enhance and expand the city's growing modern qualities, similar to Rockefeller Center for New York, Roppongi Hills for Tokyo or Pacific Place of Hong Kong.

The development will be vibrant and active at all times through its complex program mix. Its signature profile will greatly contribute to the overall composition of the city skyline. Its large scale and memorable public plaza unites neighborhoods in the urban fabric, creating a system of pedestrian friendly movement that is integrated with the public transportation system. The architecture of the buildings establishes connections with traditions of Kuala Lumpur's rich history by linking Islamic pattern making to its modern exterior design. Its sustainable strategy will make the building a leader in environmental design.

Malindo To Fly To India, Singapore After August

MALINDO Air will kick-start its international flights by flying to India and Singapore after August.

Its head of corporate sales and governmental relations Raja Sa'adi Raja Amrin said the routes will be serviced by its Boeing 737s.

"For India, the routes will be to New Dehli, Cochin, Trichy," he said during Malindo Air's inaugural flight here yesterday.

He said the airline will operate from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang and offer full services, where ticket prices will include inflight entertainment, food and other frills.

"We will also have WiFi services but that will be charged," said Raja Sa'adi.

Besides India and Singapore, the airline is also looking at flying to destinations such as China, Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia by year-end.

Raja Sa'adi said Malindo Air is looking at increasing its number of ATR72-600 propeller aircraft to four by year-end and eight by end of 2014 from one currently.

The carrier also plans to have 10 Boeing 737s in service by year-end from two currently.

Malindo Air, a hybrid airline based at KLIA, started its operations in March. It is the first airline to operate the brand-new B737-900ER in Malaysia.

"We have been having a steady increase of 50,OOO passengers on a month-on-month basis. If this persists, then it is possible for us to reach one million passengers by year-end," Raja Sa'adi.

Malaysia Airlines Considers Airbus A350 or Boeing 787

Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS) is studying both the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 as potential replacements for its existing medium and long-haul fleet of aircraft, an airline executive said on Monday.

Malaysia Airlines operates a total of about 30 Boeing Co 777s and Airbus A330s, and it eventually wants to fly only one type of aircraft in this segment to simplify operations and reduce costs, Germal Singh, the airline's senior vice president of government and international affairs, told reporters on the sidelines of an airline conference in Capetown.

It may begin to replace these aircraft from around 2018, he added.

Thai A380 On London–Bangkok

From December 1, Thai Airways will fly an A380 daily on the route.

An A380 will fly London–Bangkok leaving London at 11.50am and Bangkok at 1.10am.

But a second daily service will operate by A340-600, taking off from London at 9.35pm and Bangkok at 12.50pm.

In March, Thai Airways UK and Ireland general manager Khun Wit Kitchathorn told Bloomberg that the airline aimed to fly an A380 on the route once it received the fifth and sixth aircraft.

From March 31, Thai Airways had put retrofitted B747s on the route, replacing A340-600s.

At the launch of the revamped planes on the service, Kitchathorn told Bloomberg that B747s were ideal for transporting outsize items such as luxury cars.

"Frequencies are the most important thing, and from that point of view I’d rather have three 747s serving London," said Kitchathorn.

"But the A380 is also a prestige aircraft so we’d welcome it of course."

Twinning an A380 with an A340-600 on the route gives a capacity of 874 seats, while the two B747s provide a total of 778 seats, according to OAG.

A350 Ready To Takes The Skies As Engine Start-Up

Rolls-Royce’s Trent XWB engines have run for the first time on the A350 XWB (MSN1) following the start-up of the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), as part of the preparations for the aircraft’s maiden flight.

Combined with the A350 XWB’s lightweight structure and advanced aerodynamics, these latest generation engines with their exceptionally low fuel consumption help cut fuel burn by 25% compared to previous generation competing long-range twins.

The A350 XWB is the all-new mid-size long range product line comprising three versions and seating between 270 and 350 passengers in typical three-class layouts. The new family will bring a step change in efficiency compared with existing aircraft in this size category, using 25 per cent less fuel and providing an equivalent reduction in CO2 emissions. Scheduled for entry-into-service in second half of 2014, the A350 XWB has already won 616 firm orders from 34 customers worldwide.

Beoing 787-9 Taking Shape

I still believe that this plane should roll out of final assembly around the 3rd to 4th week of July. It'll be great to see this aircraft next to the 787-8 to get a true appreciation of its size.

Boeing has begun final assembly of the first 787-9 Dreamliner. The newest member of the 787 family began taking shape on schedule May 30 in Everett, Wash., when Boeing started joining large sections of the super-efficient jet.

 
"From the start, the entire 787-9 team has focused relentlessly on execution so that we fulfill the commitments to our customers," said Mark Jenks, vice president, 787 Airplane Development, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "Integrating the 787-9 into our production system on time is another clear sign that we are well prepared and well positioned for the work ahead."

Boeing's global partners delivered the first 787-9 sections to final assembly on or ahead of schedule, and strong progress continues beyond, with major assembly under way on the other flight-test airplanes. "The dedication, quality and skill of our partners are helping drive our disciplined performance," said Jenks.

Boeing will build the first three 787-9s on its Temporary Surge Line in Everett to allow for smoother integration of the 787-9 into the production system while continuing to ramp up production across the 787 program.

The 787-9 will complement and extend the 787 family, offering airlines the ability to grow routes opened with the 787-8. With the fuselage stretched by 20 feet (6 meters), the 787-9 will carry 40 more passengers an additional 300 nautical miles (555 kilometers) while using 20 percent less fuel than similarly sized airplanes. The 787-9 leverages the visionary design of the 787-8, offering the features passengers prefer such as large, dimmable windows, large stow bins, modern LED lighting, higher humidity, a lower cabin altitude, cleaner air and a smoother ride.

The vertical stabilizer on this 787-9 reflects the new Boeing Commercial Airplanes livery, a refreshed look for the Boeing family of airplanes that started with the 747-8 and evolved with the 737 MAX. Many features of the livery on the original 787 are reflected in the new design. The prominent number designator on the tail helps distinguish various models within the same product family.

First flight of the 787-9 is scheduled for the second half of 2013, with first delivery to launch customer Air New Zealand set for early 2014. 20 customers around the world have ordered 355 787-9s, accounting for 40 percent of all 787 orders.

A Way To Go From Here

There are a million reasons now for me to feel excited and happy. For some reasons, it doesn't seems working. Not that I am not happy with life. Just that I am pretty neutral to everything that happens around me. 2013 has been kind to me in many ways. For all the reasons that I wanted it to be. Just didn't seems to make me jumping up and down. I had my work laid out till 2015 so far. So many good things happening around me but not that I didn't wanna be grateful, I am.. Just, didn't felt as excited and happy as I anticipated it to be. 

Laying here on my bed, I think about what went wrong. But there ain't anything wrong to begin with. Maybe I am just in a place where a sense of peacefulness prevails in ways. Few  more months to my dateline on the songs for Cow's 6th studio album. And honestly, nothing came out so far. And the weird part is I am not afraid I couldn't deliver that on time cause I know it will be there sooner or later. A good thing? Hahaha.. I wish I knew too. Taking a step back thinking of all the good things that happens around me than just the pain in life. I have signed my citizenship application (Still having second thought if giving up my current citizenship is a good choice to make), I had gotten my certification from the academy, even I wish I had the trophy instead. (I know, dream on right!), had gotten my first frame from the company. What more I could ask for right?

I was just thinking, what else I could do to find myself. But there wasn't any finding needed when I am not lost to begin with. 2012 was a little rough but 2013 was a sailing year for me. (So far it has been) So now it comes back to the point where I ask myself what is missing. Well, we all know one little thing is but it isn't something I could do about right now anyway. I miss Rainer, Mr G and Andrew a lot. Sometimes, I wished we all had more time to spend together. But we are what we are right? 

I don't know, maybe I am just at a crossroads just wanting to know where do I go from here. Maybe it is a little too much to ask for right now. Life is always a beautiful mystery. We will never able to know what or where it might leads us next. The more I need to know, there more I will never know where I am heading to. But there is just one little thing I wanted, a little something to feel for me to express in my music. I just need a little whisper to know where I am going. I just need to be back into that world where I can be free in my music again. 

Belong

I didn't know that I was looking for something that was just right in front of me. There is a place where everyone of us would call a safe haven. It started off feeling easy but then, it will somehow be easier. That is a place for me.

The one thing I clearly know now is what I can from here. I followed you around and here I am, being in this position where I can see myself staying. Lying in bed, seeing that beautiful and peaceful face just next to me. Everything just seems like yesterday. June rolls in without any warning. Taking a minute just to breath in what is left for me.

It has been a long journey so far. 4 years passes and yet here I am standing here. It was a beautiful journey. It was a beautiful memory. I mean it still is in a way. Everything that shines and go. Learning process to just let it go and live today. And without it, I wouldn't have this peace and happiness that I owned right now.

To clearly put how I feel right now? I don't think I could. But yet, it isn't a bad thing at all. Like everything that lies in front of us, it is just a phrase. It will pass somehow soon. Taking the time to just wonder how everything would be if there is an "if". But to trade back to what I had? Not really. Everything just happens for a reason.
