Singapore Airlines Returns To Greece

After a two-year absence, Singapore Airlines is preparing for a dynamic return to the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. Singapore Airlines will be operating twice a week from June 9 to October 9 2014, offering direct flights from Athens to Singapore and vice versa.

The flights are scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays with Boeing 777-200ER aircrafts. In particular, the flight from Singapore to Athens number SQ382 will depart at 2:05 a.m. and arrive at 8:30 a.m., while the flight from Athens to Singapore number SQ381, will depart at 1 p.m. and arrive at 4:55 a.m. the next day.

This company, which is one of the few five-star airlines and the first to use Airbus A380, the largest passenger aircraft in the world, has already started its direct flights from Singapore to Eleftherios Venizelos airport.

Singapore Airlines has been serving the Greek market for over 40 years. The two direct flights per week during the summer season will be added to the 33 existing flights that the company already has scheduled from Athens to Singapore in collaboration with Turkish Airlines and Aegean Airlines via Istanbul, and the codeshare flights of Aegean Airlines via Milan, Munich, Frankfurt and London.
