Venti . Grande . Tall

Well, just something I wanna share about. Me and Leo decided to start something crazy out of the blue. For some reasons, we kinda find it fun to just wanna write about our experience on the little small things we do. Travelling, food, architecture, arts, shopping and music.

So we started this new blog called Venti . Grande . Tall sharing all the little things we both find worth sharing. Maybe some are not.. but well, I suppose people would already know that about me and Leo. LOL. This is our heaven and it's all about the cities and destinations that make travelling worthwhile.

We enjoy nothing more than the thrill of the open road and the joy of discovering new places, delicious foods and wonderful cultures, while meeting amazing people. Just to put them all down in words and serves us as a beautiful little journal we both would cherish from now till the time to come.

When two 3.8. get together, this is what you get :)
So for what we are going to do, we wanna share this little journal of ours with the world. We will be starting off with out little "Tai-Tai" splurging trip in Kuala Lumpur. So much more is in planning and here is some of the places we plan to go before year end.

  • Langkawi, Malaysia
  • Bali, Indonesia
  • Melbourne, Australia

Well, I guess for people who knows us, we are quirky, mental, and nothing happens within expectation. It is just every single detail we decide and do, it is always BOOMZ!

So, do have a look on what we are coming up with and follow us. Would love to hear from all of you and maybe give us some suggestions too on where and where should we go and explore. This world is just too big for just the both of us.

This Christmas Song - Angie Miller

It’s cold outside
There’s no one around
I’ve been waiting all year
For Christmas to come around
The time stays still
And I don’t hear a sound
‘Cause all I think about is you
Now the Christmas has come around

Seeing all the lights
Hung up on the tree
Reminds me of all the good
That you bring out of me
‘Cause baby your love shines bright
And it’s all I need
Don’t give me pounds of hope
Now just bring yourself to me

And when the New Year comes
Oh baby you’re the one
That I think about
When I don’t know where you’re sleeping

We’re far apart
And I don’t know where to start
So I’m just writing this Christmas song for you
I’m just writing this Christmas song for you

To my surprise, this song is actually very moving. Great job Angie! Keep writing songs like this and you will definitely go a long long way! Congrats for charting in the top 100 charts!

To Bali With Love?

Well, everything seems to be at a boiling point. I needed this break and honestly, Bali did me good. There are so many things going on right now and I just didn't know how to deal with it somehow. I am lost at words. A tight slap from reality just didn't really help.

Listening to Siobhan Magnus's cover of Nothing Compares To You just put me at peace somehow. I just hang up on the phone with Andrew. Somewhat, I miss that cutie little boy very much. He is such a beautiful light. But he reminds me a lot with what being a normal human can be. All the emotions that is going on right now, it is just part of being alive.

Somehow, I wouldn't be able to go back to the States this coming few weeks. But anyhow, everything happen for a reason right? I know at this moment, I needed to be here. To be just where you needed. I thought I would feel miserable but actually, it ain't that bad. Maybe it's just the vibe I am having right now. Listening to music really does help.
She’s talking to angels, counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She’s dancing with strangers, falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms, In his arms
Waiting for Superman
Well, I guess music is just really a part of me. This is just a song that really helps me a lot right now. And I guess that is all that matters. The lyrics of this song were inspired by a real life person. She indeed reminds me of someone I love very much.

Anyway, here are some shots I've taken in Bali. Will continue writing soon. Good night y'all.

Drama Versus Peace

When it comes to life, no doubt that there will be a lil drama here and there. Some were conditioned, some were made. I somehow have my fair share of drama in life. But the fact that with everything that is on the plate right now, I just didn't want any kind of external made drama to be in my life.

All I have and all I need is the air that I would kill to breath. I am still searching for something that would pass me on. Well, I am not here to judge, and honestly, I am in a very peaceful and happy place right now. Nothing in the world I would give to exchange for the opposite. There are many that would love stirring up negativity and also things which they don't truly understand. And with that, I am staying out from all of that.

Peace is a sense that gives me not only pleasure but also the satisfaction in life. Especially now I am with my family and my love ones, nothing comes near for me to give that up. Staying humble at it's feet. I believe what I have. I believe what is given to me and I cherish that with my life.

The is really a group of people I really miss right now. I know there are a lot going on, and we are continents apart. Mikey is still in KL of course with Mr D. G is in Sweden or which ever country he flies to. Rainer & Danny in Aussie, and Cornflakes in Vietnam. I still talk to Shinigami on and off. Daus & Leo were always there for me. Byron is in Singapore right now and my gangz in LA & NY. My barbz! Those 3 is just amazing people that keep me going. I am just blessed to even have this minute to reminisce all those moments I have with you guys.

Some part of me, still wish that my short trip to Songkhla Thailand is longer. If my condition allowed, I will be heading back there in 2 weeks with Dumdum. Just you and me for 5 days 4 nights. The sun was just amazing. Sea were calm and the food was just awesome. It will be just perfect for just the two of us. The calmness that I am looking forward is just so.... divine.

Well, I know there ain't much interesting going right now. A big change is to come in days or even less for me. I wouldn't say it's something bad, but another challenge I suppose. But there ain't anything I can do to change that. So here are some of the pics I took on my short trip during the weekend. I hope I am well enough to head there in a few weeks time.

Anticipating the next time I step into this very ocean again.

4th Of July

Perhaps what is best about being an American (18 more months for me to be officially one) comes through in the music this nation has produced throughout its relatively short history. From the blues to rock and roll to soul or folk and country, America’s roots are deep within the sonic soil. On this 4th of July, marking the nation’s 237 year anniversary, I want to celebrate that idea by sharing one of my favorite patriotic performances, from Kelly My country Tis Of Thee. No matter your thoughts on the current state of the union (and its ever-warming summers), it is music that can unite us through our hardships and our joys, that can heal us, inspire us, and carry us forward. While you wait for the fireworks to begin this evening, enjoy this roundup of music about America gathered for this day of celebration.
