The "Revenge" season 2 two-hour finale was definitely heart wrenching and we will give you a recap of what went really down during Conrad's election win. [SPOILERS]
We advise you to don't read this if you haven't saw the two-hour Sunday series finale of ABC's "Revenge" titled "Truth," and you want to see it, but let's go into detail what happen.
Remember when "Revenge" series creator Mike Kelley told TVLine: "One of our core cast members will not survive the finale." He added, "It'll be a surprise who it is - and it's certainly a surprise to Emily."
That definitely was the case.
A death happened because of Conrad Grayson. He's very sneaky. He blew up his own campaign headquarters just to try to kill Jack Porter because he found out from Victoria that Jack and Ashley were planning to sabotage his campaign as governor of New York.
We find out later that instead of Jack being harmed, it was Declan, his brother. Declan later died in the hospital.
This affected Charlotte because she is carrying his child, but to Emily Declan's death "dealt a hard blow," according to Flavorwire.com.
But the Huffington Post described the biggest reveal:
Distraught over the death of his brother, Jack was ready to assassinate Conrad at his acceptance rally. Emily stopped him and then dropped a bombshell he was in no way emotionally prepared to handle. "Deep down inside, you've always known the truth," she said. "I'm Amanda Clarke."
This leaves speculation about upcoming season 3, which ABC already confirmed.
Emily Thorne was deeply affected by Declan Porter's death in the season 2 finale of "Revenge."
Flavorewire.com brought the fact that "Governor Conrad has all the power he could ever need without her [Victoria]." So what will he do next since we now know he's ruthless.
Entertainment Weekly speculated, "maybe next season will end in his death."
"Maybe Victoria and Emily will have to team up in their plot against him. Maybe Jack and Emily can be together in secret," EW said.
Also, now that Jack knows Emily's true identity, could we see Jack help Emily in her revenge plot? HitFix doesn't think so.
"Jack may be just as fired up with rage toward the Graysons as she is, but his lack of experience and his hotheaded behavior would seem to make him more of a liability than a help in Emily's master plan," Hitfix said. "The fact that he's waved a gun in Victoria's face would suggest Emily may want to keep Jack at arm's length no matter how much she may want to bond with him."
As for the Initiative, the speculated report also said, "hopefully at least a few of the characters on the show will stop using that insanely dumb sobriquet."
