40% off for MAS economy class travel from April 7-June 30

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is offering travellers yet another offer of attractive economy class airfares to several international destinations, for bookings and payment from April 7 to 14.

Airfares are offered at a discount of up to 40 per cent off prevailing levels and are valid for travel from April 7 to June 30, 2012.

“Those planning for a getaway in lieu of Labour Day and Wesak Day are encouraged to check out our offers,” regional senior vice-president for
Malaysia & Asean Muzammil Mohamad said in a statement yesterday.

Muzammil said customers can purchase all-inclusive return airfares on economy class to Paris and Istanbul for only RM2,809 and RM2,199 respectively.

Other destinations on offer are Phnom Penh, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Medan, Hong Kong, Narita, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dhaka, Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland, he said.

These promotional offers are in line with the national carrier’s promise of providing affordable airfares to travellers on its flights from the Malaysian cities it operates.

Vacationers will have the opportunity to grab return fares from RM709 to Phnom Penh and to Ho Chi Minh, RM609 to Jakarta and RM429 to Medan.

Those looking to travel to Hong Kong can do so from only RM809.

Fares to Narita/Tokyo will be from RM1,809, fares to Chennai are RM1,028, followed by Hyderabad and Bangalore at RM1,148 and Dhaka at RM1,309.

For destinations in Australia, fares to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane start from RM2,209, while the airfare to Perth begins at RM1,609 and to Auckland is RM3,009.

Those intending to travel from Kota Kinabalu and Kuching to Hong Kong can do so at prices from RM809 and RM909 respectively.
