Malindo Air has announced that it will be offering 50,000 tickets at a promotional all-in fare of RM50 for all domestic flights within Malaysia in conjunction with its domestic network expansion and to celebrate its fifth successful month since its inception.
Chief executive officer (CEO), Chandran Rama Muthy said in a statement, “Effective September 12, 2013, we are increasing our daily flight frequencies to Penang and Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
“This is in addition to the daily flights that we have from Subang to Langkawi and Penang. The tourism industry generates enormous foreign exchange earnings and employment, a catalyst for growth and stimulating investments into the country.
“Therefore, in support of the coming Visit Malaysia Year 2014, we are planning to further increase the ease of travel and fluidity of flight connectivity, especially seeing that KLIA is a renowned transit hub in Asia while these serene islands are popular destinations among foreign visitors.”
Chandran also added that he is most hopeful that this fare promotion will also pave way for most Malaysians, who are still on Hari Raya holidays, to travel.
Booking period for this promotion is from August 11 until 17, 2013, for the travel period from August 20, 2013 to May 31, 2014. The all-in fare includes airport taxes and administration fees while flights and fares are subject to availability and are for one way travel only.
Additionally, the RM50 promotion is also available for newly introduced routes, and all other flights departing to and fro KLIA, Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Kota Kinabalu respectively, and flights departing between Subang, Langkawi, Alor Setar, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuala Terengganu and Johor Bahru.
The promotional seat bookings can be done via Malindo Air’s official website, airport ticket counters, Malindo’s KL Sentral ticket kiosk, participating travel agents and Malindo Air’s call center. For further flight information, visit www.malindoair.com.
